A point of concern about script (starting and stopping them)

Hello all.

I have seen some script makers supply uninstall scripts that stop their script after its been removed. Also ive see lots and lots of stuff about scripts saved into the save games but no mention of how to remove the scripts from the saved games.

Is it possible to stop all scripts that have been added and remove them from a saved game ?

I feel being able to do this is pretty important or players will suffer in the long term and the entire scripting thing will become a taboo subject when they lose their save in some future patch or other nasty event.

That is what concerns me.

Im considering having a script start using an init script to make the install and execution easier for other players but i have no idea if a script started this way can be stopped and even removed from a save game. IF you know about this problem and have some answers please post them.
