Exceptional mods or exceptional mods resources ?? (I'm more interested in the latter, already have pretty much all the exceptional mods already)
I couldn't stick to staying with the MTS because of the longevity of the missions with no idea what we were working towards, and everyone else dropping out of being active team players (plus an additional problem of Performance impact which I think is unique to me .. idk).

exceptional mods .. but they are added like the paintjobs .. so if u start a new game u will always have access to them from the start

does that mean we dont need to research exceptional mods in a new game to get access to these specific ones? Really need to make a new game and test that out

I don't understand the exceptional mods, either. I got the paint jobs in my main save immediately (and it's a really good one!) but how do you use the mods? The ship modding desk is for building mods and putting them on ships, how do you put on mods that are already built??

Go to the workshop bench in the Ship Traders part of the station.
Your ship has to be landed at the same station, then you can select it from the drop down menu middle top.
Now go to the weapons, and for exceptional mods choose the third tab >>>
If you also have the necessary additional resources (like High Energy Catalysts/Nividium oxide etcetera which you collect from battle drops), you can now install it to the selected weapon/turret/shield/engine/chassis (whatever it applies to).

That would be an exceptional ship nanoweave - which isn't what we got. I looked, and I have none. Plus, those can be used to make any exceptional chassis mod. We specifically got the one for reducing hazard damage.

I have no idea how this mod reward is working. Does anyone have any idea?
The tenacity mod still requires mats to build, I cant 'claim' the mods (in the online save or any other save). In fresh games there is no available mods in the mod screen.

Oh I see, I cant help because I have had this mod before MTS came along (think I may have got it from the Ventures when they were first in the game, or maybe picked it up somewhere as part of the ToA DLC .. can't remember).

I have seen Tenacity listed as being among my permanent items a few days ago when trying out MTS once again, but I assumed it would have just been automatically added.
If thats not the case then this is a bug with current MTS.
I did find it odd that all the other mods I already have were not listed among my permanent items, maybe thats also a bug.

I just joined MTS again to have a look at my Permanent Items list ..
All my Paint mods (majority of these acquired during the first run of Ventures) are listed.
But then it doesn't list all of my previously acquired Mods, just Tenacity.
Weird.

Well this is sort of the problem - you dont 'have this mod', you have the mats to make the mod. The mod itself only exists once installed, so I dont really understand how this is being implemented. Devs can we please get some clarification?

As this is a general thanks for the rewards topic, I made a bug report mod here
viewtopic.php?f=180&t=456046
If anyone having trouble getting the Tenacity mod could join in with an appropriate save showing you cant acquire it, but should be able to, that would be appreciated by the Devs I should imagine.

Thanks, but we already know what the problem is and are investigating possible solutions. No need for any further reports or information on this.

In the other topic I also asked why my other mods (not paint jobs) were not listed and/or categorised (Basic/Enhanced/Exceptional) in the Permanent Items list .. Is that also being looked into?

Just curious what is the intended behavor? In my fresh game i noticed I could actually make the tenacious on my ships, was the only exceptional mod listed without having the research, though still needed all the items which i did not have, i assumme the first 5 are meant to be free or something?

Ehm, I think you mean Tenacity, and I think you also mean the first 4 mods (above Tenacity) in my previous screenshot?
If thats the case then .. I got most of my mods in the previous run of Ventures a few years ago (and maybe a few of them came from missions/rare drops) .. I cant remember where all of them came from, its too long ago now
But they should still be in the game, you just need to find them.
Here's a list of them :

oh if i research them at the HQ all of them do show up, the 5 tenacious mods we got for rewards for the last operation though, just not sure how those were intended to work as a reward, was just trying to get clarification on the intended version of that reward, i assume it was meant to function like 5 free tenacious installs per game?
