This mod adds the plots from the previous game.

:arrow: Requirements:

Requires the Unofficial Patch 1.3.10+

Optional Install: You can copy the movie files from TC and AP to get the intros with their game starts and bridge missions.
You can find a batch file to copy these, installed in: addon/PluginManager/Extras/plot_videos.bat.
Or if you prefer you can copy them manually

Yes it should work with save games.

any previous save games will follow the FL route, so you will need to do the Terran Plot first

Well, I was just thinking about buying X4. Guess this will have to wait now :wink:

Thank you very much for this. For me, the lack of plots was always the downside of X3:FL. This is solved now.
Two question remain for me for now:
1. do the plots work smoothly with the Dynamic Relations system? If I'm not mistaken, at least some plots at some points influence your standing with certain factions.
2. Is the German version (and other languages) of the plots included in this mod?

1. It should do, during the phase where you need multiple races, like the terran plot, the dynamic relations is disabled. And there is a cease fire between races for certain plots. You will notice in the encyclopaedia that sometimes the race friends/enemys may change depending on what phase of the plot your on.
2. Most of the text/voice used are already in the game, so most of it should work fine in other languages. There are a few new texts added, these will eventually be translated too

I have some missing texts when choosing the start scenario (German version):

The text for the start ship is missing for every newly added start.

Another question about hose "bridge" plots. I guess they open new connections to systems from TC/AP that are not present in FL. Will connections to new FL systems also be lost? If so, what happens to my assets in those systems?

the start texts are the few texts that are new, as well as some of the mission text for the bridge missions. These will be translated soon hopefully

Some sectors get added, and others get different connections, but i decided not to remove any sectors during the transition. So the end universe will be largely the FL universe with a few changes. A few old sectors are added back, and there are additional gate connections, like between Heretics end and Asteroid belt.

During the transition to AP, the connection between the Split and Boron sectors in the North east will be disconnected again (the sectors will still be accessible though)
The Torus will be available during the TC phase, then destroyed again when it moves to AP

Sorry, if I ask again. Does this work with existing save-games? Will new sectors/connections be established in an exisiting save game?

Further question: Actually in FL I don't so the Terran-Plot because I'm a pirate and only friendly with Corsairs, Teladi/NMMC and Split/SA.
Will the dynamic-relations pause with this Mod while doing this Plot?

yes it will work in existing games. The missing sectors will be added into any games. And the other connections happen dynamically when you take on the various linking missions.

Only the Terran/ATF dynamic relations are paused during the TC plot. You will need to be friendly with various factions when doing the different plots. (most wont start if you are enemies at the time)

With the FL starts, you have to do the Terran Plot first to open up Terran Space, then you will have a link mission to start the TC plot

Yes you are right I am sorry! My file was containing an error which makes it unloadable by the game. A fix is on the way... we will get back to you as soon as it's online!
