Yes, but it would have to do this anyway, and only for yours - so if your PC was capable of running X2 comfortably, it would be capable of acting as a server for a modded LAN game as described. :)

How about instead of using X2 and X3 engines we use the engines that were used to make X-BtF and X-T? The universe is smaller, the engines are lighter and ships look cooler! :) :D
