What's the most powerful ship (shield wise) a player can pilot or command in X-Tension, except a TL? Sorry for the noob question.

you can't pilot any m1 or m2 in xt.
btw. in playerhands the perseus only has 75mw shields, and capping it is quite difficult, I used 5 Mamba wings for extradamage.

So when you capture Perseus, its 2 x 125 MW shields immediately degrade to 3 x 25 MW?

A side question. There is a command to order your ships to dock at your carrier, so I wonder if you can use your TL as a carrier. If so, does it become a mobile station, with unlimited docking space and are the docking and undocking procedures same as for the station?

The ability to fly a TL was added in one of the later patches for XT. You can dock ships at it, but I can't remember if the number is unlimited. When you dock yourself you jump straight to piloting the TL, and if you switch to one of your docked ships then you are launched immediately into space in that ship.

I'm pretty sure it *is* unlimited--it wasn't until X2 that they added hangar sizes to TLs.
