Did I imagine it? Charting supply/demand
Hi all,
I have Google and I have YouTubed and I have searched the forum.
I can't find it.
But I swear I've seen a standard AP feature where you can see a line chart of the supply and demand, by product, for each sector.
Am I going mad, or does this actually exist?

Aha! "Object graphs" is why I couldn't find them.Alan Phipps wrote:See if this helps. Good luck.
So it says, and I quote:
Should I be seeing an advanced option on the drop-down menu when I click on a station?Object Graphs
Other graphs focus on individual objects and can be accessed from the the Advanced section of the context menu for the object:
• Station resource/product stock levels over time.
• Station profitability over time (also shows account transfers).

I'm not absolutely sure, but I don't think that secondary resources consume at a fixed rate. I think there is a randomness to the interval.DrSuperEvil wrote:I am currently working on an economic map for X3AP but I still need to get the secondary resource consumption right and the friction factor (needs a data set).
Not that primary resources do either, for that matter. Any such mapping would have to be based on an "all resources available" assumption, otherwise consumption rates fluctuate.
But don't let me be a downer. I'll be really happy to see what you come up with, even if it has some approximations/assumptions to it.
