Is my terran plot bugged?(TC) - Resolved, rep needed.

I finished the bridge mission where you escort the scabbard to the station in Heritics's end. Afterwards I commed the girl and said I wanted to work for the Terrans, mission completed. It has been hours in game and I have still not received the message about joining the patrol in Uranus that begins the plot. I reloaded a save during the bridge mission and I still do not receive the message after it is completed. It has been awhile since I played TC but I could have sworn that message starting the plot was received very quickly after completing the bridge mission. My start was Tormented Teladi in case that matters.

I don't have an answer but I think I have a relevant question...have you completed the tormented Teladi mission? There might be some interaction issue that keeps you from entering the Terran plot while that is still running. I can't say that I've ever tried it so I have no idea myself, but it's something to consider.

Try leaving Heretic's End, if you haven't already. Sometimes mission won't continue, unless you go to a different sector. Also check that your ranks with the Terrans and Argon are still at least neutral (Terran rank 0 (Citizen)) or slightly positive (Argon rank 1 (Federation Member)).

Try leaving Heretic's End, if you haven't already. Sometimes mission won't continue, unless you go to a different sector. Also check that your ranks with the Terrans and Argon are still at least neutral (Terran rank 0 (Citizen)) or slightly positive (Argon rank 1 (Federation Member)).

This was it. My terren rep was revolutionary. The instant I got it up to citizen I received the message starting the patrol. That was stupid of me not to check. Thanks for the help.

If there is anyone here who hasn't done something similar I couldn't guess who it would be. I know I've done my share.
