s m or l ships

can anyone tell me or give me a link to a site that tells me the main differences in s m l equiped ships.
Im about to buy my first ship after spending time trading in the mercury. got around 350k to spend.

wrong forum mate, try the X-universe forum :)

s - small, m-medium, l-large.

refers to the specification level such as shield size, weapon type etc prefitted.

if u got the 1.2 patch u can press when the ship is highlited in the ship yard it will tell u what is installed on it

wrong forum, i was certain i put his in the correct one. oh well, sorry. anyway, i had realised s m l was short for small medium and large. my real question was is it worth it financially to go for a m or l over a s ship. the ship im probably going to get is the mako.

Hi scoobytwo,

you can do this in the game by docking at a shipyard or wharf / pier etc,
going into the trade with station menu (D), highlight the ship you are
interested in and press (I) for information and it will tell you what you get
when you buy. Press ESCAPE to come out of info menu.

Should you have a ship or satellite in the same sector as the shipyard /
wharf / pier then you do not need to travel to the station in order to
checkout the ship details. Just select the station from the sector map and
repeat from above as if you were in the station
