I have a heavily modded game on the go at present, I'm afraid
hopefully, I'll get it all together for a fresh vanilla installation, next week..

- the new rig's gonna take some research, though
- W7, i7, SSD's and all that jazz..

- the Goner start is an odd one for me
- haven't tried that one yet..!!

- it's certainly an exciting project..
- will you hold to an executive gameplan, or will we be seeing
- differing styles of play by each participant - sounds like fun!!?

I think you can play an unmodified game as long as you don't activate the script editor. You just have to keep the slot 1 free for the save game.

On the other hand, we are already 4, so that makes 12 days before a fifth can play. So, come and join us!

This looks great... so I´m in. Just one more question...

Don't touch possessions of other players (don't sell / destroy - except with permission).

Does that mean that i can´t fly other players ships? What about marines and other stuff? I think it would be extremly unpleasant to find out half of my marine squad dead or some weapons/shields sold.

Well, I guess you will have to use them, otherwise the second player won't be able to even play the game. I think the rule means you should not sale or purposely destroy a possesion aquired by another player.
