This looks great... so I´m in. Just one more question...

Don't touch possessions of other players (don't sell / destroy - except with permission).

Does that mean that i can´t fly other players ships? What about marines and other stuff? I think it would be extremly unpleasant to find out half of my marine squad dead or some weapons/shields sold.

Well, I guess you will have to use them, otherwise the second player won't be able to even play the game. I think the rule means you should not sale or purposely destroy a possesion aquired by another player.

Well I've had my turn and it's been very interesting to see how other players play. I'm really surprised how considerate the previous players were, there was plenty of ships to use and rep was high enough to get some decent payouts - good work guys.

I'm fairly pleased with my performance, but left a couple of things in a mess (like a Mammoth that needs repairing

) but on the whole I think we have got some decent foundations laid down (in terms of ships and stations.) I just wish I'd had a bit more free time this weekend.

First,thanks for the Hyperion.Maybe not as souped up as it was in X3R but still good.I like the shape etc.

So far I have upgraded the Kraken and started training it's Marines.
Bought 3x 2nd hand Paranid fighters and repaired them.Not sure if to sell or upgrade and keep.Just got a 2nd hand Demeter Super Freighter,which will become my next trader.

Bought a few sector and asteroid data. Still just watching how other things are going.

That's all so far.

at the moment this one MORT.
Eleven traders including a mine/trade
Plus soon to be put to work,my Demeter.

There are also three stations .

When I left it last time,there was little credit as I had purchased a good bit and paved the way for expansion.
On receiving it back,there is over 58 mil.

So I guess you could say there has been a good amount of trade.Of course selling "borrowed" ships has helped too.

This sounds an intriguing way to play. Sadly, as a full-time worker in "real life", I'm still trying to get my first 'empire' up. In 6-12 months time this will be very interesting.

Though I am reminded of an 'Ancient Chinese Proverb':

These types of games are really cool, and can turn out to be really awesome if its played (sort of) DiD style. These frequently happen in a game called Dwarf Fortress. And turn out to be VERY epic (look for a story called BoatMurdered). Now I didnt read all 4 pages yet, but if signups are still going, count me in.
