It was un-stickied because quite a bit of the information in it was out of date, and quite a few other parts have been superceded by the FAQ.

But where are the newbs supposed to go now! Can't you put a link to it at the bottom of the rules and regulations thread or one in with X3 news? They're not gonna go for the FAQ are they?

Linking people to a thread with a lot of out of date information is not a solution. And why wouldn't they go to the FAQ?

They're just gonna get here and post you know they are. Lets face it thats all I do! OK, I suppose I shouldn't judge everybody by my standards. I don't even like the FAQ but I'll desist anyway. The FAQ is umm.. interactive. I like something to read.

Do NOT bump something for no reason. If you could track this post down presumably you could also find the easily located forum rules stickied at the top of this page.

This thread was unstickied because lots of the information within it was no longer in date. Now you have the satisfaction of being the user that put it to bed forever.
