Its relevant to a walkthrough of the Final Fury missions to warn that there is a once-only gun there to pick up, dont you think?apricotslice wrote:I think that ends that discussion. Its established that that gun is available only in 1 FF mission.
If you want to continue with the discussion, please take it to its own thread.

I was not discussing how to use it! I posted a question, clarified it and barely got an answer before you were postings its now 'settled' and we should stop discussing it. Not everyone is as well informed on the particulars of the game as yourself, it may take some time before they come to understand where this laser can be found. Also, incorrect answers considerably slow and cloud this understanding;apricotslice wrote:Yes and thats been done. Your discussing the gun now and what to do with it.
This thread is about the guide and missions, not game play in general.
Move on please.
Its also something very relevant to a walkthrough of the Final Fury missions. Could this perhaps be incorporated (briefly) into the actual walkthrough for that mission? Something to the effect of 'this is your only chance to get the PALC'? It was very difficult finding any information on it whatsoever with the poor search function. Having said that, the PALC, while fairly powerful, doesnt feel right. It doesnt look like it was 'finished' and is largely vapourware.apricotslice wrote:You have checked if these ships do mount that gun ?
Assuming yes, they should be sold in the sectors for the ship race.
The only reason im posting all that here is because this is stuff that can only be got in Final Fury and some people will want to know. Hopefully now they will

How to pass jumpgate while towing ship? In Aldrin plot, where we need to tow Mobile Mining Base ship to Aldrin 2.
My M6 can pass through jumpgate but the mining ship stop just before the gate. So, i boarding it. Transfer over the JD and ecells then jumped it to Aldrin 2. Mission over.
Im just curious how to tow that ship.

You just tow straight through the gate. On the other side, you wait for the towed ship to appear and then start towing again.
It helps if you drop a sat or leave a ship on the other side of the gate, so you can monitor the towed ship.
If the tow length is too long, it may break as you go through. In which case you have to go back, reattach the tow as close as possible and do it again.

Okay, I just tried to start the terran plot as non-terran for the first time. I escorted the Scabbard to the defence station, I talked to the Terran girl (over the radio, not by docking), the mission disappeared from the list and I got ATF astroid belt access. However, the story doesn't seem to progress. Did I forget something?

You should have a mission listed to go to Uranus. And with guidance turned on, yellow arrows pointing to the north gate.
If you dont have a mission listed, then in all likelihood, you accidently didnt accept the new mission. In which case, you need to go back to the previous save and redo the dialog and make sure you accept the new mission.
This is one dialog where you do have to accept the mission to continue. In other words, you do have to say you want to work for the Terrans now.
If the mission is listed, turn guidance on and follow it to Uranus.

i think there is a delay on the next mission starting from when you agree to work for the terrans ( after the escort mission from omicron lyrae ) when you start with one of the none terran starts.
