Same here .... I've just attained 'Petty Financier' and was looking to get the Tormented Teladi start.

I'm wondering if along with the rank, do we need to reach a certain ( % ) ..??

Yes, you actually need trade rank 3 333. Trade ranks.

Ahh... so i actually need 'Petty Financier 33%' ... or something similar to that?..

guess i'll keep raising that rank till i see the start become available.

I have finished terran and goner plots, im Industrialist (38%) and Assassin (81%) still i have all basic starts + goner only....

(in reg: 60 hexadecimal).

Any clue?

Most likely you haven't met the requirements to unlock the majority of the others as of yet, though some of the others should be unlocked by now. Is your game modified in any way?

Looking there i should have many starts now, i dont even have USC commander.

I didnt tell but im Last rep. rank with argons and borons, and before last rank with paranids, splits and teladis....

It is a poisoned paranid and its a tough one.

I died.

Poisoned Paranid isn't that bad, as long as you stay away from Paranid space, esp. their core sectors until you finish the mini-plot. If you want hard give Unholy Traitor or Lost Lar a go.

Speaking of Lost Lar, is the First post still accurate? I've unlocked everything EXCEPT Lost Lar, and the Character that did it has completed the Aldrin Missions and has the PHQ in the HUB sector.

Ranks for that char: Argon Protector of the Federation, Boron Knight of the Kingdom, and all others in the top 7..... Battlemaster Fight Rank, Master Industrialist Trade Rank....

It's still 1280 as far as I can tell.

Can you access the Aldrin Expansion missions if you start as an Aldrin Adventurer? The FAQ says you need to have completed the Terran plot but that's not available to this gamestart.

You should be able to - the Terran plot is flagged as completed for that start.

I never knew a Harrier (regardless of it being a "Raider" or a "Vanguard", or anything really) being a TP.

Damn you Stargate

Lost Lar hasn't opened up for me either... and I've completed the PHQ plot, and am max rank with the Boron... but I was when I finished the HUB too - which may have confused the trigger... though I tried to lower my race relations with the Boron, slowly, and it still didn't open.
