 I just checked the yield of the asteroid I took that figure from, yes it's, ahem, 25. I must have wrote it down incorrectly. (Okay, nothing to see here, move along, move along!)

Just a question regarding the output of resources. The produced column, is that total wares produced or per hour? I need to know before I jump in and waste 1 billion

Thanks, Flames.

if i am correct its the total amount made in 1 hour.

if it shows 100 microchips your complex will make you 100 microchips in a 1 hour period (as long as you have the resources obviously)

Then try the Xadrian's Complex Calculator.
It incorporates AP/TC separately.
Also it can be used offline,as it does not need internet.
Many useful features too .

link in my sig.

You have several very dubious third party websites linked on your website. NoScript handles them fine, but I seriously recommend going with a trustworthy advertising revenue partner like Google.

Just tried to put my current Terran AP complex into your calculator, I noticed you're missing the Spectre Missile and the M/A-M Warhead factories from the AP Calculator.

How come two of the same factory in a complex doesn't generate twice the revenue as one factory according to your complex calculator?

Question: The OCC seems to be missing the Terran Spectre Missile Production Fab, am I just not seeing it?

Quick update, looks like the OCC is definitely missing a few Terran fabs, but I noticed at least for the following a good ratio for substitution. Skipping details, just a simple ratio, I'm sure there are more things to figure in.

- 1 Spectre missile fab = 1 Poltergeist fab, reason being that the needed resources = 7x as much, but the cycle time is 7x as long.

- 1 Ghoul missile fab = 1 Poltergeist fab as well, with the ratio being 5x as many needed resources, and 5x as long of a cycle.

just something to go by until the OCC gets updated.

It seems the domain has expired :headbang:

Ah yeah that sucks. Here you go though. Was able to grab the old IP before I had to pay to see that info.

This is the actual address and service, not a copy.

http://66.39.35.164/x3/x3tcocc.html - X3:TC calc
http://66.39.35.164/x3/x3apocc.html - X3:AP calc

The links and stuff still work on the top of the page.

Great, I was wondering how to see the address of an expired domain and had no idea how to. And it's very nice that he's made the site with relative links as well.

Thanks Sinxar.

Ice mine missing

I don't wish to be bore or anything but could the Terran Ice Mining Facility be added under minerals?
Spoiler
Show
There's a huge asteroid in Asteroid belt that just begs for a massive water complex
but only the water purification facility's are in the complex calculator.

Cheers

I really love your calculator, used it many times when I get bored and start playing X3 TC/AP.. but this game is getting old and I am afraid that at some point great tools like this one will disappear.

Is there any offline version available or is there any Backup URL just in case?

There's Xadrian Complex Calculator which I use all the time, there's no "installation" required (this is still an option though) but you will need Java Runtime Environment installed.

The links are all broken currently; any chance of getting a working version online?

In a different topic OzWraith found out that the servers are still there it's just the domain that expired.
In this post OzWraith wrote:I am also completely lost without the Complex Calculator.

I've sent the author (em3e3) a PM. I'm not sure whether he checks the forum any more, though. He hasn't made a post in over 2 years. That isn't saying too much, I also mostly lurk. But he has a post count over 2,000+ and then - nothing.

I do have good news for you though: Only the domain has expired. The actual server is still there and you can still use the complex calculator!

http://66.39.35.164/x3/x3tcocc.html - X3:TC calculator
http://66.39.35.164/x3/x3apocc.html - X3:AP calculator

And if you add a line in your hosts file for this IP to altanetworks.com, everything will work as it always has. If you need help doing this, let me know whether you are Windows/Mac and I'll give you the instructions.
Edit: I added the server links to the first post now.
