The Core Mod is still 0.7a, but there is a Patch for the Scripts, Version 0.7.3. This is the current version.

Whether the Terrans like you or not depends also on your Argon Rank. The higher the better.
That could also explain your problem, archangel118 ;) But i am not sure because I dislike the Terrans and so I do not deal that much with them.

No, I was more just asking about rep required to buy the Valk, just asking b/c I can buy the Mjollnir which is a M4, but not the Valk which is M5, and I just thought it was weird b/c I have 1000 rep with them and good argon rep, and the spreadsheets say you need 100 only for the Valk. I'm assuming something just got messed up in the rep.

Salvage missions to far away (20 thousand klicks)(X-tended)

Is there a patch out there for the X-tended version that prevents Slavage missions from appearing 20,000 Klicks out of normal space, its hard enough to find a crate when its in the hundreds...

Hi. I`m fairly new to the XTM MOd, very good and am enjoying it so far. The thing is there are so many new ships that i`m totaly thrown by the better ones from the not so better ones. Could anyone tell me what are;
1. The best M1`s
2. The best M2`s
3. The best M6`s
And
4. The best M3`s
Also, what are the M0`s ?
And lastly i noticed that on my Terran TL i can somehow make ships ?? How do i actualy do this.

Drones satalites and exploring

Hi All,

I have xtended installed with bonus pack 1 and have a question about how to set satalites up with ships that you control not players ship. I have tried to use a scout drone but find trying to place it where i want hsrd as it only seems to want a station or object selected as its target not a co-ordinate.
Any help on what I should be doing?

use "move to position" command and then adjust the coordinates, using "4", "6", "8" and "2" keys on the numpad. the altitude can be adjusted by switching to "x/y" plane view with the "insert" key.

I have noticed that any time I try to enter Xenon Core Sector 05 whether by jumping or through its gates, my ship immediately blowsup! Any input on this would be very appreciated.

I have the same problem with Core 05 (the trading station that I have to get the Scarab pilot to is an Assassins Guild station in Core 05... which, even without the instant exploding is quite the problem :P), I think the planet is simply placed too close to everything. Or that's what I'm guessing.

I had something rather irritating happen to me after I acquired the Leviathan- I was just tooling around in Thuruk's Beard and was on my way to redock at the Levi when its reactor went critical and it blew up. Thing is, this is an Argon-built Leviathan that I bought from their shipyard, not an RE attempt. What gives? :?

Have to applaud the Levi's firepower though- most things take around ten minutes or so to get a Xenon station's shields down, it managed it in one or two :D Also, upon entering the sector, there was a K and three J's plus fighter escort, P's, and a Q- P's, Q's, K's and J's went critical easily within a minute. :o My shields dropped to around 1/3. Pretty decent superweapon.

I'm fond of the Terran Aegir as along as you stay at long range. The Beta Electromagnetic Pulse Cannons in the front can take out almost anything. I don't care for the Alpha Electromagnetic Pulse Cannons as their range is inferior to Beta High Energy Plasma Throwers.

You might want to read the message again--I bet it lists the coordinates in METRES, not kilometres, so 20,000 would be just 20km.

Memorial of Light ?

While trying out the Cheat Script :oops: i put a sat nav in every sector. I found 2 sectors that belong to me !! Memorial of Light and another one to the East of it ?? There are various ships in Memorial of Light but i`ve no idea how they got there ?? The thing is i cannot get to Memorial of Light as there are no gates in the entire sector :? Is this an error or am i not able to see the gate due to fog. This sector is above Unknown to the East of Montalaar. Can i possibly create a gate to get to it ? Your suggestions please :roll:

This is an XTM related question, the other sector (Last Frontier) is accessable through a gate, as far as I have been able to ascertain, memorial of light however, is not accessable except by revealing it with cheats and P2P jumping in.

Can't use beta flak on Pythons

I'm not sure what's going on, but for some reason the Python ship won't allow me to use beta flak cannons at all.

I have version 2.0.12 that i installed from a dvd, and then i put XTM on it with all the right installs. Not really sure what to do from here other than feel frustrated.

I can confirm it's an XTM change. Some other ships have their weapons changed too, like Chimaeras turrets.

Yes I agree it does suck. I can't understand why the XTM brains decided to downgrade Pythons, Raptors, and Elephants in their Mod. To me this is taboo, and highly offensive to Split enthusiasts. And there is no logic to it ... if it is for the sake of re-banlance, then it was unecessary as there are lots of bigger more powerful Ships in that game. There should be some way to re-script the original Split ship specs to the game and might be available from the mod forum somewhere... But I have not bothered to try yet myself...
