well all the ships i described are identified as M5.And the speed of the yatch is not upgradable.And the max shield it can carry is 1MJ shield.And the fact that the m3 i was given (which is recognised as m5) has the SAME shape with the yatch!these ships are small and by any no means could they carry two docked ships.I acquired the yatch from the second unknown sector south west of malestorm.Maybe i have to modify it somehow?Can i find photographs of the yatch to compare?Anyone else who had the same problem maybe can help?

It seems the DDRS mod, I suggest you go to the scripting forum and check the thread for that mod, what you are describing is an incompatibility between mod and patch; you should download the latest version of the mod and read carefully the instructions because it might require a restart (i.e. starting a new game).mercuryry wrote:yes i do use a mod.I dont remember its name.It was at the newsboard some months ago i think dy a guy named redarrow however i am not sure that was the name.It adds some ships and a station that can built ships.

I've got a question about restarts... if you had a situation where you had to start a new game but you've got all the latest updates and mods (i.e. Bala Gi's, ship mods, etc.) would you have to wait until you beat the storyline game before you can do the Bala Gi's missions?
Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about starting over and just wanted to know what I'm getting into before I decide to do that.

I may have found a not so good problem with the newer ship models.
I reverse engineered the Eclipse and finally made a few...i cant equip any shields at all but it says max shield is 1X125mj I am running a vanilla game as far as mods no extra ships but i do have anarks fleet commands script...but i dont see how that would effect a production bug.
I have tried going through gates re loading the game and it dosent fix it, right now i am reverse engineering the Hypernia? Hypernion? whatever the dukes yatche i hope i dont have any issues with that one, i an just using the shieldless eclipses as carrier supplies with my elephant they do supply runs and horde the resource on the elephant then i jump back to hq and dump it off, works well they can hold 350 units.

Hello.
As i can see, one of the "Bala Gi Missions" requirements is to own a station and several millions of credits. As i understand, only extra large transports (like Mammoth) can buy and carry stations, and these transport ships cost around 30 million. Am i missing something or it is really not possible to build your first station until you earn enough to buy TL-class ship?

YOu can hire a TL aswell. just find one roaming the universe, comm it, contact captain, ask it to transport smthng., then ask it to move to shipyard, wait till it docks, dock yourself, buy station, load it in the TL, comm it again, ask captain to follow you, move to where you want your station, wait till TL comes, comm it again, ask capt. to drop freight, a sector map appears, select the position of your station with nupad keys 1 thru 9 except 5, press enter. done.

Why can't you use 5?
