If you want to take out a capital ship, get up close and friendly, I mean really close, close enought to see the rivets! Out of arc of armaments, get yourself tucked right in, try and match your speed, and move with your target and then chip-away at shields and hull until you here those magic words - 'No target selected'!
If things don't change, they'll stay as they are.

western, have you ever noticed how the big ships slow down as you get "close and personal"? And how they accelerate and turn if you drift behind the midship? Rivets are not fun to watch, but their turrets are. You can even see how individual guns disappear as your fire destroys them.

Ideas are still welcome.

The question will get asked by the "newbie" and the answer will be credited to you.

Never trust the computer young man! Feel like going somewhere? Fly yourself. Want something done? Do it yourself. And be a kind soul and offer a round in memory of all those who died by activating the autopilot.

Some of them were my friends. I did warn them. But did they heed my advice? No! They just mumbled something about "enjoying manual flying" being out of fashion, and how much more precise the modern technology is to any living being.

Do you see that senile wreckage, who shivers in the corner table? He hired other traders to trade around the universe. By his clothes you can see that he is quite well off, but he had to rescue his hirelings from tight spots once too many. Even the smartest help you may find can occasionally do costly mistakes. But until they do, that is said to be a very easy way to the big credits.

Apricotslice, please follow the link to this gem that I got from CBJ regarding getting Station transporters to effectively dock at a Shipyard :)
