Can you cap assasination mission ships ?
You can cap escorts but not the mark, I think?

iirc, ego assassin missions don't allow capping of any ship involved. I've done prolly 50 of them, not a single bailout.
The add-on assassin missions tho (Cycrow's guild script), I've had a few bail.

Is there anything in-game which explains why the ships in X3 look nothing like the ships in X2?
Will Egosoft ever ship a totally bug-free plot the first time around?
(Does that fact matter to most of the X-universe fan-base?)
Are the in-game video-clips lip-synced to *any* language?
Will participants in a thread concerning whether or not certain game-play styles are -- or are not -- cheating ... simply agree to disagree?

Yeah. Remember "Planets are us?" That's a space empire building game with ship to ship fighter and capital ship comat, a limited plot line, the ability to build an almost limitless empire of ships and stations, an empire with 4 races, a strong back story, humourous, great graphics..... and it didn't have ANY bugs.......
Wait, come to think of it, there aren't ANY games like that, other than the X games, so YOU ARE RIGHT. It doesn't matter, not much any way.
