Since the ufos are mentioned in the myths section, having some ufo pics there as section dividers is appropriate :)

I just had a horrible thought and checked my bandwidth usage.

Phew !

last months fell a little short of maximum, and so far this month, I've chewed through 1/10th of it in 4 days :)

Heh. I let a mate of mine host his sight on mine. Apparently last november he put a MP3 on it that was popular.


I had used 17gb of my monthly allotment of 25gb, in 8 days....


Once I figured out what was causing it, that file got thrown in the bin.

Its easy to do and very few people really understand bandwidth usage.

Some of the links here no longer work because the files got deleted, presumably because there was too much bandwidth used on free servers.

Its why I cant host the X3 handbook myself. Fortunately I've had an offer where the bandwidth is expected and not a problem.

2.3Gig of TGA files plus the whole lot converted to jpegs.

There's a number of pics of stations etc. You can get to some of them at my blog (www.yeebok.blogspot.com) though I am not sure if the blog engine resizes them from their normal 1280x glory.

Edit : Have a few of the UFO too.
Setup: Quad Q9550/2.8Ghz, 4Gb low latency RAM, 8800GTX/768, 24"widescreen 5x500Gb SATA2s, Win7.

Just finished inserting the first set of pics, with a few still to come.

The zip is just over 5mb :o :cry:

I have I guess another dozen pics to insert, so it will grow a bit more.

trouble is, some of the pics need to be big, or you miss the detail.

Boy, pdf hates a pic being on the change of pages border ! :? :idea: :?: :!:
