Since you've worked on the relative scale, we only ned to know whow long one of these ships is. That can be calculated by simply knowing how long it takes to fly past one of these ships at a certain speed. There are lots of tricks that can be used to ensure that the measurement is as accurate as possible. If anyone can supply me with a savegame with a Boron M1 or M2 and a maxxed mercury with an eclyptic projector then I reckon I an work it out quite accurately.

I was actually thinking of using a gate as a reference for scale. Should be pretty simple math, since it is a circle, you only need to find the distance to the outer edge from the middle, which is already marked when targeted.

I was going to suggest getting the gate size in there too...and stations while you're at it. :) Very slick work!

I've got a Wheat Farm Complex that's 14 km end to end...

You know what would be wonderful....a script that had every single ship, in the same sector, all DIW. Then I could do some nice all angle detailed shots for each ship. Diagrams pointing out turret hanger bays, bridge etc... :)

For a sense of how big these ships are, I have intorduced a scale. 200 meter increments to 1km. The boron M2 comes in at a whopping 2975 meters! I am going to do some more work and scale the ships to equal a pixel per meter to get a more accurate measurement.

Sounds like scoochy is ahead of me. But a copy of whatever you produce would be helpful.

And thank you.
