Fantastic work!
Might I suggest something though, stop adding extra ships and think about exactly what you want to do. What you started off doing will probably not be what you finish off doing as you have more good ideas (and suggestions from others) along the way. Now you've experiemented a bit and found out what you can and can't do, have a bit of a think about the finished product you want. i t may be you need to do things a little differently and start getting the pic's again, or in a different way. Once you've decided what you want to do, you can go ahead and finish getting al the info.
To see what can be done, I would suggest taking a look at Jeff Russell's Starship Dimensions page.

Whoa that does look cool, I do love the backgrounds in this game, they are simply amazing.GENERAL DAVE wrote:How do you take the backgrounds off the ships ????
Nice work and ideas, i'm liking it.
I took this pickie when answering a fairy in distress, but didn't bother to use it at the time.
It shows a split TL (nellie) in comparison with a pirate base.....
I know it's no use to you but the background is very cool no?

Hope you like
That big pic you've got looks really cool, I would say make separate pictures for each race but then you wouldn't see the difference ion sizes so well. Those boron cap shps are huge!
EDIT: Just have to say again how cool that ship pic looks Excellent work there
Umm, when the image is at full size, the point type is actually 9 pt.RaGodofTehSun wrote:maybe make the type bigger so you can see what it says please?
I guess I could make another image where the type is bigger so that way even when zommed out of the image, the type is still readable.

I wouldn't mind showing scale compared to different things, but for that, I would have to know how long one of these ships is. If anyone has any length data, that would be great.Rapier wrote:Fantastic work!

As for now, I am simply going to collect the ships, scale them, then arrange them in some nice spiffy and snazzy arrangement.

Since you've worked on the relative scale, we only ned to know whow long one of these ships is. That can be calculated by simply knowing how long it takes to fly past one of these ships at a certain speed. There are lots of tricks that can be used to ensure that the measurement is as accurate as possible. If anyone can supply me with a savegame with a Boron M1 or M2 and a maxxed mercury with an eclyptic projector then I reckon I an work it out quite accurately.scoochy wrote:I wouldn't mind showing scale compared to different things, but for that, I would have to know how long one of these ships is.
