A Boron Defence Polyp is a fearsome sight to greet any ill-intentioned intruder of the Queendom or her allies. These unique defensive structures incorporate a large superconductive ring of mag-clamps, allowing them to securely latch on to other structures such as jump gates, accelerators or even other stations. Epitomising the Boron philosophy of warding off unnecessary conflict at its source, these point control installations are typically deployed around gates or accelerators bordering particularly troublesome neighbours, giving them the opportunity to peaceably turn around once they quickly realise the foolishness of their ways.

Can be deployed free-standing, or attached to gates/accelerators/superhighways by creating a plot next to one and extending its size to cover it. Then simply move and rotate into place (see images for optimal positioning). No negative effects on (friendly) traffic.

Fully armed they're quite expensive compared to Terran/Commonwealth defence platforms of similar calibre (1,2) due to the nature of Boron turrets, but they work similarly well.

Awesome Design. Looks scary as hell!. Wouldn't want to approach one.

Attempting to import most of the bases you posted but it says wrong game version. I have latest version 6. How can I get past this?

These latest ones were made on the 6.1 MTS beta. Since there are no meaningful changes between these versions other than the online stuff, you should be able to import these plans if you just change the version string in the xml. Open the file in a text editor and at the very top look for the <patch extension> tag which has the version info. Simply put in your game version (presumably 600, but check with a saved plan of yours).
