It is definately an end-game construction for about 550 mln. But the price can be lowered using commonwealth turrets and shielding systems.

Very nice congratulations. How did you manage to position the station attached to the gate?

You may overlap some structures (such as gates) with you station by expanding your plot in respective direction

Thanks! Not only did I learn to stretch plots to fit right up to a jumpgate but getting to watch an FAF Raptor get melted trying to get through made it priceless! I use these now at all entry points to the sectors I control. They take forever to build but worth it!
