[6.0 Beta 4-7] Ship collision issues
Hi,
could it be that ship collisions are not maturely calibrated yet? I experienced multiple times when i was flying a large ship and tried to fly nearby another one both ships actually flew into each other and getting stuck instead of bumping away, e.g. Flying Sonra (with Nodan landed on it) and stucking into Incarcatura. To me the phenomenon felt similar to small ships being pulled by the gravitational field of a large ship.

[v6.00 Beta 4-6] Bug on collision management - two ships merged together
Hi,
quick note to report a bug. I found two miners with their geometries fused together. When I found them, they were colliding with a station. I was able to pull them away from the station, then I tried to untangle them by piloting each one manually, to no avail.

Both crews are fine They were reassigned to two brand new miners and I've been able to sell both ships to different factions, just to see if the game engine would be able to untangle them by itself, but I guess the garbage collecting kicked in and both disappeared from the map.

Ships locked together with one speared through the other
I just had two helios E's refusing to move /carry out orders - couldn't take over control (Captain busy) or cancel the Undock order they both had.
They were not near a station so I took my Asgard over to give them a nudge - one had speared through the other they were locked together and both trying to undock from each other !!!!
I hit them but they stayed locked together.

Threads merged. Links to vanilla saves (especially ones made before a collision and merge is reliably going to happen) are far more useful for investigations than text reports.

6.0 issue stuck ships
Some ships get stuck together when undocking. In my case its L class miners
Is there anyway to get them unstuck?

Please link a vanilla save showing the issue and the devs may be able to investigate.

There was a bunch all stuck toghether just before i saved. this happens a lot and they get stuck on undocking stage

V6.00 BETA 7 Ships collide and "glue" ith each other trying to dock or undock from Teladi Trade Station
Exactly what it says on the tin errrrr title... In this save my Chimera is "glued" with 2 Asps and a Teladi Tern all of them trying to dock/undock in there...

This bug still exists in rc1.

actually, this may not be the same bug because it looks like it's just one ship, not several fused together. should i open a new topic?

If in doubt, always start a new thread. We can always merge them back in again if we find it's the same thing, but if it's tacked onto the bottom of somewhere it doesn't belong then we may not even see it.

This will be improved in an upcoming update, especially for the case where many ships collide at a narrow dock area exit.
