Extract game data / information to be used in databases?

Commanders,

any pointers where to look if one wants to extract available information on everything in-game? For example, the in-game encyclopedia tells you what something is, what one needs to craft an item, and so on. I am pretty certain this is stored in the XMLs within those .dat files somewhere... Just a little experiment I wanna do.

use the extractor tool listed in the pinned comment in this forum.

also, there is this browser reddit link for the files that's being built. unsure of its status.
Mods: RPG: Reputations and Professions, Social Standings and Citizenships, Crime has Consequences, Alternatives to Death. Missions/NPCs: Emergent Missions, NPC Reactions, Mod Parts Trader, High-sec Rooms are Locked, Hacking Outcomes, More Generic Missions, Waypoint Fields for Deployment. Others: Auto-cam, Friendly Fire Tweaks, Teleport From Transporter Room, Wear and Tear. QoL: Trade Analytics, Loot Mining, Ship Scanner, Signal Leak Hunter, Station Scanner, Surface Element Targeting, etc.
