added the wrath. its not finished and i wanna try something different here. the idea is that you guys give feedback on balancing and optics and influence the final ship this way.
Cool I will give it a try and let you know my feedback on it ( by the way I'm into your tutorial for dummies and so far it's awesome )
ill look into that. for now just dont use the wrath, its unfinished anyway. since there was barely any feedback ill try to implement that little feedback i got and finish her soon.

Those are damn good quality ships here. Once I decide to go from vanilla to mods this mod will be first on my list to check.
P.S. Does these ships work with ingame paint mods, or they only have one paint?
P.P.S. Does your destroeyr has a landing pads? I can't see them on screeenshots.
the destroyer has 4 S landing pads. i plan to fit another 4 or an M sized one. depending on whats possible. paint mods dont work atm since i havent bothered much with vertex paints but i plan to bring them for all ships in the future. its actually pretty high priority on what i wanna do.
another thing is the AI does not use this ships yet. i gave it a quick try a couple of weeks ago but failed and didnt bother since then. thats also something that will come soon for all ships.

I really want to thank you for your amasing work. Your ships, and especially the last one are f***ing beautifull.
Thank you to improve this game. I will follow your work with a lot of attention.

thank you. i really appreachiate that.
and to answer mr.who: i plan to do a full blown faction with ships, station, reputation, some story and missions. but since im not a professional artist or something i take a very long time per ship and i cant keep sinking in that much time forever it will take very long till its finished. the tension for example took me about 120h to make and i didnt even do it from scratch but used an existing 3d model as base. so expect more ships in the future but dont get hyped for more
also the ship i wanna do the most right now is my vision of the X2 Argon Titan for X4, which wont be part of the crucible corp.

Tried out the Wrath. Found a bug. My character got stuck coming out of the elevator at the door to bridge. Also couldn't get Ai pilots to dock but manual docking worked fine.
Also I would add some storage space. I don.t know what the mechanics are of rearming fighters on carrier docks are in game but I suspect something will need to be implemented at some point.
I dont know if sharing game data files outside of the game environment is allowed.
Like now people could use the cockpit without ever having bought the game. My gut feeling tells me, that this is not the right thing to do.

I found out that the Wrath was not the one making my game crashed, it was another mod that as not been updated to the recent game version, well since version 1.5 in fact. So your mod is not the one, I'm going to install it again and give it a try

got it, deleted it.
but arent my ship mods the exactly same? i am using the assets you created in them. the koha is basically a almost full discoverer with only minimal changes, the envy and jealousy use some smaller assets and a full cerberus cockpit,. the tension uses a full paranid M miner cockpit. and all of that is part of the mod file in xmf format. so anyone can make it into blend. sure, the textures are missing but they were also missing in the cockpit mod.
i dont complain but i fear thats my ships are not ok and i cant share them with others anymore because of that. that would really suck since they took me houndreds of hours to make. could you check that or tell me who to ask if they are still ok?
btw the decals of the M sized rocket launchers are wrong in Z offset. u can see that in the converted dae file or in the building menue ingame when u hover over the weapon.

Use it for what, and what would buying the game have to do with it? Any use I can think of that you'd want to crack down on, you'd want to do so regardless of whether there's a purchased copy of the game involved or not.

That's exactly what I had in mind before you've made your reply, but I didn't want to sound stupid in case I guessed the process of modelling wrong.
In my opinion, Egosoft should decide on official guidelines of what is wrong legally regarding vanilla content reuse/-re-release (including porting Rebirth ships, since they only made a vague statement to not to "overdo" it. I mean, what does that even mean? I could only port 5 ships? Or maybe 7? Where is that thin border situated exactly?)
My gut feeling is, that sharing asset files, which are usable outside of our game environment (e.g. .blend files) are not cool.
Compiling assets into new things which can be not be easily opened outside of our games is tolerated (excemptions may still apply- for example grabbing dlc content and making it usable in the base game is not ok).
If you want to share presets, its best to not use any of our art. Create a "simple" blockout cockpit with all the neccesary setup to work in game.
Modders can then replace the geometry with their meshes.
