[6.0 (maybe 5.x)] Bug: Deposit Inventory command vanishes inventory - WAI, explained.

I have a situation where a NPC has collected some inventory for me, and I'm not seeing my personal inventory increase when the NPC deposits the inventory.

Please see below save file and consider the following reproduction steps:

1. The player is located at the traders corner of the PHQ.
2. Check the inventory of the ship "Geometric Owl". Notice how it has 23 items in the inventory, we'll use the AGI processors (2) and Decryption Module (1) as an example.
3. Go to the crafting bench and observe the number of AGI Processors (16) and Decryption Modules (3) in the player's current inventory.
4. Order the ship "Geometric Owl" to deposit the inventory to the PHQ.
   - This has also been tested having the ship undock, then issuing the command, same result.
5. Observe the crafting bench again and notice how the AGI processors nor the Decryption Modules have increased in value..

Expected result:

The inventory of the ship "Geometric Owl" should increase the player's inventory by the amount contained on the ship. The ship's inventory should also be zeroed.

Actual result:

Nothing happens, the inventory appears to vanish into nothing. The ship's inventory is however zeroed and the inventory effectively lost.

Testing steps

• Got in the ship and talked to the pilot directly, there appears to not be an "Collect Inventory" option (if there ever was one)
• Required the ship to undock, then go deposit. Same effect.
• Figuring it may be a bug with the crafting table, after depositing entered the ship, flew away a bit, then came back to the crafting table. No change.

When the NPC pilots are told to deposit inventory, they don't magically transfer it to the player, what they do is fly to PHQ (and can get destroyed in the process) and hopefully deposit it into the inventory item safe accessible from the Science Lab and Personal Office. You can collect things in person from there if/as you want. As an alternative, instead of an NPC pilot depositing at the PHQ, you can either have them fly to you, or you fly or teleport to them if you have the research done, for a face-to-face swap of inventory.

The game really does not explain this well, if at all. Could we look at adding a UI tweak to take the player through how to collect their inventory?
