Whether or not your game is modified using any third party scripts or mods (see note below) : tried on both modified and unmodified
Game start being played : PIO and station planner mode
Exact nature of the problem, where and when it occurs and what you were doing at the time : it seems the game doesn't entirely delete modules and create a clearance issue when building a station
Any possibly relevant changes you have made to your game, system, or software before the issue occurred: None, no mods were updated when it occurred on modified playthrough. An no mods were activated on vanilla playthrough. I had no system updates iehter and my computer hadn't been restarted.
Where appropriate, additional symptoms, error messages, links to screenshots and crash dump files (see this FAQ entry): none

original steam post (with images) :https://steamcommunity.com/app/392160/d ... 471762362/
I have built three stations without any issue.
I build Terran, and always begin by building a luxury dock then storages under it like a tower.
Thing is, I'm trying to build a fourth station, I can build the dock with no problem. I can build my first storage, but then I can't build anything else under it. Actually, if I remove the first storage and try to build anything under the dock, I can't.
I can't even move the dock under its current level, it's like there is something there.
I thought it was because of another station nearby that has a Large pier that might overlap that area. But that seems to not be it since moving the station further away doesn't solve the problem, and sometimes, I can actually build something under the dock before everything turns red.
If I try to build further down, it seems to work, but I have that huge area where I can't build in the middle of the plot.
Note:
I notice there is a white sphere and a line coming from it each time I try to build a module. And it's every time I try to place something under it that I can't place the module.
Yet, If I try to place modules far under it, I can build again.
I can't provide a save file since it was on a modified game.
BUT I tried on a vanilla game in the station planer mode, and I can reproduce it 100% of the time, no matter the size of the plot.
Step 1: Build Terran luxury dock
Step 2: Build something under it (I haven't tried everything, but I am sure the issue happened with the Terran round connector, the Terran vertical connector, short or long, doesn't matter, and any Terran storage.)
Step 3: either for some reason, it won't be possible to build further down, or delete/remove a module
Step 4: try to build another module, or to move the station down
Step 5: notice it's impossible to do so, but if you try to place the module further down or move the station further down, it works again. there is just that clearance issue where the module was/couldn't be built.
I insist on the fact that it doesn't happen just when deleting the module.
I tried to build a station in that order:
Dock
Round connector-storages attached on the side
Long vertical connector
Hex pier
The hex pier couldn't be built because of the storage.
So I built a small connector.
I still couldn't place the pier, even though it seemed possible, so I tried to build another small connector, but I got the clearance issue.
(you can see this on the images in the steam post)
