Split Campaign stuck on Rebellious Thralls - Fix in a future build.

Says to dock on slave trader 3, (which is a buffalo and can dock small ships) when I ask for docking permission that button is grayed out and says you cant dock with this ship. slave trader 3 shows as a friendly ship ,I have the split guy on my small ship (yut'knk) but no luck, have tried teleport out of sector and back, reloaded save, different small ships, only me on a small ship etc. etc.

please upload a save game file where it is stuck so I can look into it. Usual choices are dropbox or google drive, but any file hoster is fine.

I had a similar problem this afternoon on this mission. Impossible to have the authorisation to dock while in my ship (option was greyed like you).
Then I did this :
- Let my ship just some meters above the landing pad but not docked
- Go out with my spacesuit and approach the entry door and target the mission icon), right-button and 'ask permission for landing' was no more greyed
- Then teleport to my ship and ask again the permission to dock and that works.

I know it's a bit strange but that worked.

Even if a workaround works, please still link a vanilla save as the devs needs to investigate and try to avoid the problem happening in the first place.

Bumping this thread because I am facing the same issue right now. The workaround did not work for me, unless I am not finding the right entry door. (I tried going suited to the classic door that opens whenever you get up, and also tried to find the docking entry for space suit, usually under the ship). I saw on viewtopic.php?t=435288 that it was linked to low reputation. I am indeed at -15 with the splits, coming from the TER start.
I could provide a save but it is modded unfortunately.
I feel too lazy right now to try to improve my rep but I may try later.

I can now confirm that after two FAF missions, raising my reputation back to -4, I can normally dock at the slave trader.

My bug is that there is no RED Scanning point on the ship. I have watched a guy on Youtube and know where the RED DOT is supposed to be... my game has nothing, its not there.

I am in my space suite, scan mode enabled, and ready, but nothing to scan.

No modes no hacks, just a vanilla game. My standing with the Splif is +17

If no save is uploaded when reporting the devs can't help as every single game start is unique hence they need access to a specific game and issue to be able to debug.

I am running into the same issue. Terran cadet start so could be a rep thing.

Save is after picking up the passenger, and hovering next to slave 3 on the dock step.

Had the same issue with terran cadet start, but got around it by getting above -10 rep.

I can confirm once I hit -9 with FRF I was able to dock, maybe -10.0 works but when the display said -10 I couldn't, but it may have really been like -10.5.

Thank you very much for the save and observations. The issue will be fixed in a future build by giving the story ship appropriate docking relations towards the player.
