[2.60H2] Station constructions takes way to long - Being addressed by the devs.

I have an issue where the time to construct a station is way longer than the estimated time in the build editor.
In the first screenshot you can see the time it takes to construct a Paranid E Pier from 26% is 1:07:13.
In the second screenshot the same part is estimated at 24:00, from 0%.

The game is not modified.

This issue is being addressed by the devs in the 3.00 beta work.

Same here.
Un-modded 2.60 started as 2.60,
For example my last weapon components factory built time is/was ~1:45:00... Or L storage more than 1h... With NPC builder.

So we all need to wait few months to play game normally? 3.00 will come out somewhere in 1Q of 2020 (? ).
And I started playing again few days ago... oh well. :cry:

Well I'm sure that, if they can discover a fix for 2.60 that does not impact on other extant or future aspects of the game and can be easily issued as a stand-alone remedy, they might consider releasing another hotfix before 3.00 release should that not itself be imminent.

station planner said 59 mins to build a basic S dock.

This is example of building time bug: 2 stations in Pontifex Claim, 2 same modules, 2 NPC builders - 2 different build times... Modules planned and started to build OOS.

I hope the devs communicate exactly how the builder works.

(first, there seems to be a bug where all of a sudden the builder starts building much slower)


What effects the ability of a builder?

Skill level of service crew?
Amount of service crew?
Amount of drones?
what is the max amount of drones?
skill level of pilot (management? pilot skill?)

when looking at loadout tab on my mammoth, what does construction drones (30/95) mean? are only 30 drones being used? why?

heh.... I use my own builders WITHOUT ANY CONSTRUCTION DRONES- everything working fine- at least OOS! Strange- but true!
Saw this "workaround" in another post in forum.

I really wish someone from the dev team would explain this.

On my current mammoth I have 100 drones.

95 are construction, 5 are repair

when doing info on the mammoth, looking at the loadout tab, and the Drone behavior section, I see the following

Capacity 100/100

Construction drones 30/95
Repair drones 0/5

This to me seems like the first number is the number in use and the second number is the max. The ship is undamaged so no repair drones are being used.

This ship has 219 Service crew, so fully staffed. Why are only 30 construction drones being used?

(current version : 3.0 Beta 3)

30 drones is the max number needed for fastest build time
Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

Today i figured out why my construction ship was way to slow, although it carries 90 construction drones. Somehow 84/90 were not available anymore. Seems they are still constructing on their own somewhere in the galaxy. I hope this will also fixed in 3.0, but currently i stay on the offical 2.60 version. And no i have no mods so far in use, although i regret this regarding the really stupid AI of my pilots and managers.
