I'm discovering more invisible lockboxes (i.e. indicated on the radar but not there in space) as of the last official update.
Just to let you know

Are you doing a secondary Long Range scan when you get to the radar point? Too help pinpoint the lock box again.

It was a bug reported in Beta that made it into release I have had loads too into double figures now.

and by invisible you do mean you target it fly up and you cant see anything just a blank targeting square?

I had one (icon was green) right next to or may be in the side of a station. When I flew there, there was nothing...

No nothng to target as there is nothing in space. It's only visible as a lock icon on the radar.
