I bought X4 after the Boron dlc released and haven't played it before then so I am currently on my first run of the game.
I want to start the Tides of avarice questline however, I seem to have reached an impasse.
When I was exploring the Teladi ship which I was supposed to help contacted me however, I ignored it the time since I didnt have the knowledge about him or the resources to help him.
I found out that he was crucial to the quest through the forums and his ship has dissappearred. Most likely destroyed by the tide.
So my question is: What now ? Do I have to start over to do the TOA quests?
