When I do the Flight School, it happens with Mars in view. If somebody plays with no DLC, do they see Mars, too?
The combat scenario and advanced tutorial happens with Terran ships. Do these tutorials even appear for people without Cradle of Humanity?

Some tutorials do indeed use different locations and ships if you don't have Cradle of Humanity. You can try this out for yourself by just disabling Cradle of Humanity in the Extensions option from the game's Start menu.
