Are there Space Flies in this game?

I could be seeing things, but I am sure there are space flies zooming around the SCA pirate base in The Cove.

Maybe I drank too much last night... hmmm.

Anybody else spotted these?

Some sectors have what I will call micro-meteors and mini-comets for want of better terms (not the vector space dust). You see their trails tracking across the sector background and any planets. When I first saw them I tried to follow one - it doesn't work.

Loot or debris from asteroid mining (need to be in-sector for them to spawn, like lodestones and unstable crystals). 25 space flies +> 1 space caviar in the console to your left when you enter the station trader room.

Some visible trails are a graphics option for example when using travel drive.

I think you will find the asteroid loot items are spacefly eggs and which may have been in the rock for ages.

Yes, at least up to X3R. We (the Split) were collecting them -- stun with IonD and scoop in.

I'm pretty sure that there are no spaceflies in X4; only eggs and caviar.
