X4:Tides of Avarice Unable to connect to Online Features - Seems resolved.

Today I bought X4: Tides of Avarice and now I no longer can login. Before that everything worked just fine. I tryed reconnecting my steam acc, turning off ToA dlc, checking and unchecking firewall settings for X4. Nothing worked, even though I can log in my egosoft account with browser no problem.

I could not find any way of action that worked for me on forum.

Any help please?

You say you "can't log in" but don't give any indication of what happens when you try. Do you get an error message? And if so, what does it say?

When I try to connect it gives: 'Unable to connect', 'A connection could not be established, please check your internet connection.'

First, just to be clear, adding X4: Tides of Avarice to your game won't be the cause of this; that has no relationship to your ability to connect, so the timing is purely coincidental.

We have been having a number of server-related issues this week, so it's possible that there is a temporary issue. I've not seen other reports with the same error you're seeing, though, so it may not be that. I'll ask the relevant people to check when they are back at work tomorrow.

Edit: In fact at least one other person has now reported a similar problem, so that increases the chances of it being a server-side issue.

I have a similar problem but for a different reason, i cant login due to the password reset email never arriving. It isnt in junk, not in deleted either.
I made this account in order to post for help, i cant link my game to this one since it is linked to my original account

Is the pasword reset email a manual proccess on your end ?
I tried 1 time yesterday, and 2 times in the past 30 mins

OK, I tryed again but this time when I went to the online features in main menu I was already logged in O_O So I it is solved I guess but I have no idea how

Before turning on game I logged in to ego forum, I wander if it logged me in game at the same time
