Question about the X4 coordinate system

is there a specific layout, for example. is Windfall IV -218.39573 -0.405088 153.202603 map down and to the left of the center of the map?

It's almost certainly km from the sector's central origin point (0,0,0) in the following order West-/East+, Down-/Up+, South-/North+. So in your case, on the level far West and North. I hope that helps with the datavault search.

thanks Alan! I use Maya on a daily basis so i was i always think may 3d coordinates, some places use z up some places use y up. hah Almost all of the vaults were in Avarice IV and very close to the middle, one was was near a shipping lane in Avarice 1, the last one, with the main battery is in Windfall 4.
