Will we have Split DLC Beta?

3.0 Beta is well under way, yet there is not much info about Split DLC.

@Egosoft: Do you plan an open beta (e.g. for owners of CE or people who pre-purchased DLC) for Split DLC?

I highly doubt that there will be an open beta. Teladi Outpost and Home of Light did not have an open Beta iirc.

I highly doubt that any court will charge them with murder, so it's not them.

It wouldn't hurt to have one....would be nice to have a DLC release that isn't a bugged mess ^^;

There was a signup for beta testing? Isn't the only way to apply for DEVNET access? I only participated in Teladi Outpost Beta because i asked someone from Egosoft who was also watching a streamer if i could get a beta invite. For Teladi Outpost they were pretty open in regards to Beta access but that did not apply for Home of Light.

There is no Beta sign up for X4 DLCs that i am missing right?

Not even that, you had to ask the devs if you wanted to be part of the Beta and they gave a limited number of people access to the content, first come, first served basis.
I was only lvl 3 access, the alpha was higher level access.
They asked if people wanted to be part of the Beta? Limited number of people got a steam key. I was fortunate to get access to both dlc, down to allot of people not wanting to play the game in the state it was in at the time.
