Bug, got the same. It can get worse, i hear some engine sound as well constantly. And other sounds get delayed by 10 or more secs.
Hope 2.2 fixes it - can't really play like this and without sounds it's also problematic.

I also have that same sound. And very often right after comes those endless looping engine sounds, the ones you hear at a wharf. This ends when I go trough a gate.

Yep once again reported when 2.0 came out save supplied and no response from Devs....also not listed as fixed in 2.2 and it really really kills immersion

Nah, it's a sort of sketchy bug.

I've reported it back in v2.0's beta. It's hard to reproduce, because it disappears after reloading (rendering savefile reports near useless) and only seem to come up on certain hardware.

No it did not fix it. Still present in Black Hole Sun, 2nd Contact, Argon Prime. So not it is not fixed...

If it's not fixed for you, then please report it in the Tech Support forum with a full description and a savegame that demonstrates the problem. Without this, the chances of us being able to fix something we can't necessarily reproduce are slim.

Sorry, I am not here as an Alpha or Beta tester. I am a retail customer that paid full price for this game so I am not inclined to do your work for you by creating accounts with file sharing sites so I can post links to the information that you require. Now I would be happy to directly upload files and images to a confidential bug reporting console or Jira input page if you ever choose make one available.
