Inquiring 2.0 info.
I normally don't care about these things, the update will arrive when it's ready, that's always my opinion.
(unless it's taking years)
But i'm planning a fairly large factory complex and i would LOVE to be able to set "REPEAT ORDER" on my
freighters that will be hauling Hullplating, E-cells and Claytronics from my other 2 complexes - to feed my build storage.
It was a bloody torture having to set every traderun manually on my last build.
So please... prettly please, With a cherry ontop, tell me we'll get "Repeat Order" to sooth our minds.

Of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most.
Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
Yeah, I'd love repeat or loop orders option.
Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
i woudlnt really need a Repeat, but it would be nice, since i cant just order 5 freigthers at once to do some trade/transports.. i always have to order each one manually...
so i also would take if could just order mutliple transprotships at once to do something, but a repeat is fine too.

Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
they should add groups where default behaviour is copied and optionally orders are copied
and its separate from subordinates, groups are individuals with the same setup

Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
AFAIK 2.0 is player shipyards. 1.5 was supposed to be fixes and some extra features. They said as much in a youtube vid. Trade/Orders wise I've been plenty happy with the mod community. I'm good on that front even if EGO never addresses it. Same issues arose in XR (see NESA) and the mod community had a better implementation as well as being much faster. NESA was always superior even when EGO included it into XR eventually.
Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
I hope it's all the commands needed, fleet management, crew education, some sort of running costs, some sort of information channel for the events of the universe, faction war AI, adjustments to mission rewards, research system, turret fixes... That's all on top of my mind. After these I can start waiting for new modules, ships, sectors and races and hopefully an epic plot. For different tastes and everything else mods, more mods. That's pretty much my roadmap.

Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
A Repeat Order option sounds great.
I'm also hoping for the option to Globally and Individually Blacklist Sectors.
My Trader & Miner escort fighters keep traveling to and dying in Xenon Sectors when the ship they are set to protect is located sectors away.

Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
Repeat order is not really needed if the autotraders of the Stations work well. Nowadays they suck, remaining iddle with a full cargo of energy cells because of memes
Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
At this point is it safe to assume we won't have any patches between 1.5 and 2.0? I thought Egosoft adresses some issues like extra commands and fleet management in a swift fashion like they do until 1.5 but I think this time that's not the case.
Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
I tried on some factories, kind of a test.
If you set up the energy price of selling at the top, they pass to the next branch of items because it´s not worthy at all sell energy cells.
I didn´t try with the next items, because in some you would have more than two different branches, so it would be a pain in the ass and they will choose only one item if you manage to make unworthy all of the others wares.
Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
I dont think that assumption can be made, but there is movement on the steam depots, the branches \ nightly builds were updated yesterday ..
https://steamdb.info/app/392160/depots/
It could be within a few days before we see a public beta, which may just be some priority patch fixing (a 1.6?), or it could be a bit longer and include all plans for v2. But movement on the steam depots is the only clues as to what is happening anyone public has access to, so we shall see .. when it happens. There has been an unusual amount of developers activity in the Tech forum and Public beta forum in the last couple of days which gives clues as to what is being fixed in the next patch, notably AutoTraders issues has a couple of fixes already, just go down the first couple of pages on each forum and look for colourful names with Egosoft under their avatar making posts.

Re: Inquiring 2.0 info.
Thank you for the insight. For now fleet management, commands and turrets are just enough for me to start playing again. I only wish for a patch tonight as I only have time on weekends.alt3rn1ty wrote: ↑Fri, 11. Good, good. But I`ll wait for the finished version. I am a patient man.consiefe wrote: ↑Fri, 11. Jan 19, 13:11viewtopic.php?f=192&t=405397
Yes, we have 1.51 in beta section.
Wait! I just looked at the beta Readme which says...
Does this affect other areas outside of the map?Removed ability to map right mouse button to avoid conflicts with context menu function.
Please no. This is my move button in 1st person which i`ve used for every 1st person move action since forever! It`s a very comfortable key for moving.

Hahaha that's what I thought although I am a bit tempted when I see the fleet improvement.Socratatus wrote: ↑Fri, 11. Jan 19, 13:17Good, good. But I`ll wait for the finished version. I am a patient man.consiefe wrote: ↑Fri, 11. Jan 19, 13:11viewtopic.php?f=192&t=405397
