I'm currently using the xbox controller. I'm thinking about getting the Oculus touch controllers. Are they better than the xbox controller in this game?

Beautiful for flying around and interacting in the game universe - first time I realised they had touch surfaces (or at least first game that used them), but I had issues in dog fights, couldn't seem to turn fast enough, maybe needed more practice.
Couldn't say if they were better.
