seating in skunk

I am running the steam version of X Rebirth VR. It seems to be going OK, but I find that I am standing behind the seat that I should be sitting in, so I can't see the speedometer without bending down. I have tried going out of the cockpit and back again, but it makes no difference.
Any suggestions?

Hi, sounds like you moved your physical position after the headset calibrated.

You could try hitting "VR Reset". By default, this is mapped to the ` (tilde) key.

If using the Oculus Touch, you could also rest your thumb on your left thumbrest for a couple of seconds.
