Saw this today in the Occulus store ,great price so grabbed it :) I did have a few conflicts between X52pro and touch but disconnect either touch or hotas and the other works.Had to remap the hotas as the profile is a bit crap .Cant seem to get it to select dock and have to do that in 2D .
Apart from that ive had no problems and in VR Rebirth looks great and have already spent a few hours playing it .Thats the longest ive played anything in VR (Elite Dangerous is ok but not properly implemented so ive only used it for very short times)
Looking forward to seeing how it turns out :D

Its the sort of thing I dreamt of when I first sat in the X-perimental shuttle in XBTF way back in 1999. To be inside the actual cockpit. Of course I imagined some sophisticated cockpit simulator with surrounding spherical screen, but this VR is great.

I'm loving this game. Its the most played VR title I have already. There's a few niggly bugs but its great to feel like an actual part of the X-Universe.

just have to wait until the menu bug is fixed before I can play again. its like waiting for xmas.

I share the same opinion! The game feels great! So immersive! I love to play with my touch controllers, they feel wayyy better than a HOTAS.

I also love it :). I'm 50 hours in and now have a maxed out Energy Array, a Construction Shop producing the Reinforced Metalplates for me, a Fedhelm for mining, a Light Sul and some Gigurums and Triath Sentinel.

It's easily my favourite VR title.

And I really wish X4 had VR from the beginning. I don't care about VR optimizations, just the base game with VR support.

well Xmas came early today with a patch which has fixed all the menu lag and stuff....

Just endorsing this thread. XRVR is a fantastic port to VR. Took me a while to get used to the Touch controllers but now my X52Pro is gathering dust. Thanks Egosoft !
