I have used scripts and mods in X3 for some time but XR is different!
Can anyone please point me to a manual or guide for how to use the in game extensions menu?
Thanks in anticipation of your help.

For Mod Users or for Mod Creators? The latter is a bit more extensive

Thanks Sparky.
I seem to be getting the hang of this now.
One last question - what is the purpose/meaning of the "Steam Workload Downloads YES/NO" option in the extensions menu ?

Good question! I'm not sure as I've not used those options yet
I guess we could use it to retain subscriptions on Steam, to avoid losing track of them, and use the game setting to turn them off for mod bug-testing or new games without a mod (s).

Workshop support was introduced in Rebirth v1.30 so I just checked the Rebirth v2.0 Manual. There's a brief mention of this Extension menu
on page 19. It looks like it is indeed for uninstalling am extention that we're still subscribed to on the Steam Workshop.

Edit: Although as you may know, if a save has used an extension at some point in the past (or a save game edit), the save still counts as modified for the purposes of bug reporting and technical support.
