[Req] Remove cheat boxes/lockers from stations

This is one of the biggest immersion killers for me so far, other then the stupid lane change mini - game and ghost ships, which someone already took care of. I mean you have an npc buying teladianium leaning against 6 lockers full of the stuff. Here, let me open all these lockers while you watch and sell you all the crap inside...
So please, someone either get rid of them, or put a rep hit on looting the station. The vent boxes might be a separate option, it seems silly that every smuggler hides stuff in the vents, but at least it's not as blatant as rummaging through stuff right in front of people.

If people really feel the extra income is necessary, perhaps a mini game could be programmed where an npc asks you to fix something in the vents, which would spawn objects up there that you would need to interact with, then come back and get a reward. Would fit much better with the freelancer premise then just picking up freebies everywhere you go.

this mod is already installed in all copies.

to activate, simply dont open them.

actually removing them would only make sense in a multiplayer game.



no offence,but i want these industrious mod-goblins working on the important things.

I would have to agree.
If you don't want a mod, don't install it.

It should actually be fairly simple. I think I remember them being spawned from one of the XML files in the libraries-folder. I might look into it at some point, depending on how much time I have.
