I know in my playing times

I seen ships frozen in space
I seen ships sit and get shoot and blown up with no response
I seen enemies flying around stations with no police aid (even if the area)
WHY THE HELL DO THE AI IN THE HIGHWAY disappear they just exist in the highway.........

I like the game.. These is just a few things i've seen.

that is more a "complaints" thread, I'd rather talk here about "which tactics you'd like to see in Rebirth"?

I suspect they are just vertex shaders and are not real / modeled objects.

Its is, but not exactly, this is more a list of biggest issue/leak and things like this and a list of solution for fix them...
AI shoud be fixed by devs first, with my idea it give a fast way to fix it at least the biggest issue...
And it opens doors to modders.

for example, if fighters could fly in formation... this kind of stuff.

My idea provide flying in formation, complexe manoeuver during fight, difficulty level, no collision with object and way to don't get stuck on a station for AI !

IF you mean "moddable" the answer is yes.

My idea can provide :
Now formation flight, new maneuvers (both created by modders in plus of a small number by Devs) tweaking difficulty/ai behavior and fixing the collision + permit to mods things about it (cause their is a detection after all) and tweak it for more or less respond, like a middle CPU version, or a 2 time more CPU consuming one that will make a perfect AI that will almost never collide or anything else like this !

My idea have first to be done by official patch before be able to be moddable i guess...
And fix AI its not something that we should have to do.
My idea definitely fix the biggest issue like collision and docking issue and can be moddable by adding a lot of functions if we want, it is able to be done right now, it is short do to for a dev team and it will avoid them to lets us without fix the LONG time they will work on the AI, after all after 7 year of development we still on the same point than what we get from X3, so they will not fix it before long time if they just still doing what they actually doing...

Of course with my idea AI will be less free, but at least it will be able to do things correctly and not look unrealistic !
And finally it won't loose any feature from now except the collision...(it is so well implemented that i call it a feature :lol: )

1. Make enemies react according to friendly AI proximity including you.

2. Add hostility prediction system for "friendly fire" during dogfight with the enemies. This is my biggest gripe where polices are allowed to shoot the spacecraft, and you can't.

3. Fixed enemies flight pattern for avoiding friendly large ship. This should prevent unneccesary friendly shielding, using friendly ship as a shield to prevent you from firing them.

No "destructive heroic" personality please. They keep firing at friendly spacecraft regardless of winning or lossing.
