When you explore the inside of the Xenon base to plant the bombs near the end of the game, you see some human skeletons which look like they have tubes running from the back of their head and whatnot into the floor, as if they were being "plugged in" to the station.

Are/were the Xenon experimenting with humans and trying to merge them into their stations and ships?

Yeah I figured that.

I was wondering though if they were merging people with the stations, for lack of a better word.
