my hypetrain has collided with a silly spacecraft called some skunk or whatever and its now broken. "fly many different" is not enough :( why are there restrictions already? fly everything i can encounter or nothing. sry, this is a selling point for me. i know im just one so i dont expect anything.

OMG X3 Reunion VR!!??

I never bothered with X3R because it was basically a stripped down over simplified version of X3 that wasn't worth the time but this VR version excites me so much. Please don't screw this up!!

XR VR?? So you're teasing me to by a pair? They ain't cheap, you know... ;)

New patch to XR is always welcome. Hopefully those 'small performance tweaks' will bring a noticeable improvement.

The move to a Vulkan based game engine is what catches my attention.

The loss of any creativity in XR and the non Dijkstra highway system, caused the game to fade in interest.
I hope X4 can rekindle the "lets build this, for art sake" and remove the inefficient travel system.

Will you release X4 in early access? It would be great in my opinion, so you'll avoid bad reviews for bugs and performance. :lol:

I know that you're a small team, but you should try to deliver some key features nowadays, like piloting capital ship from a bridge commander, or landing on planets...

And confirm some revolutionary features from X:Rebirth, it is great to see the commerce in real time using drones, there isn't a game in the market that delivered what you did from the 1.0. Or modular station, you're still the number 1 in the market for all of those things.

That announcement made my nipples to stand in attention! Oh my, should place ice cream there...

Really excited, building stations from individual modules in X4 is something I was missing in all X3 games.

DEVS:
Will be possible to change actual weapons loadout on our ships, as it was in X3? That is another important feature that didnt make it into XR...
Also, are you thinking of incorporating some massively used mods (like CWIR or capital ship bridge mod) into next version of XR or into X4?

You have insider info on X4? Because the only thing Ego's said 'no' to was flying capitals in Rebirth. I don't see where they've said the same thing about X4.

I don't understand why you'd want to deny someone else the fun of playing the game the way they want just because you don't want to do it that way. Nothing precludes having both options in the game. After all, choice is what the X games have traditionally been about.

There are ships with more than one weapon slot. You can equip compatible weapons and assign them in weapon groups.
Example with a ship with two weaponslots.
E.g. slot1 laser installed, slot2 has a shotgun equipped.
Weapongroup 1: fire slot 1
Weapongroup 2: fire slot 2
Weapongroup 3: fire slot 1 and slot 2.

Either two shotguns or two lasers can be installed of course, too.
