Side menu, is there a reliable fix yet.
I loaded up the game yesterday and i have no side menu, i even started a new game and disabled all mods, still no side menu, i have reset default settings, tried this and that off/on still no side menu. Yisha is there, so i don't think it is the previously reported problem, and anyway that should not be the issue in a new game. I have steam updates so it will be the latest version, i even switched off the beta, but still no side menu. Any ideas guys.

Just a long shot - I had some issues when experimenting with adding icons to the menu on relatively low res settings. I normally run at 1280 x 1024 on my old (but very good) AG Neovo monitor and at that resolution, adding two more icons to the sidebar caused it to disappear with a report in the debug log about widgets not fitting the allocated size or something.
Enabling and checking your debug log file might be a good start to finding out what's happening here.

yes the legacy setting was tried both ways, not verified cache yet, but i will do, and nothing has been changed on my system, just not played since before last update, so i suspect something to do with this. i will check debug file, and post back here soon.
Edit: fixed it now, i verified game files, but that didn't work. So i un-installed completely, then did a new install, and now it is ok with a new game, i haven't tried my save games backups yet, maybe i shouldn't, some sort of gremlin somewhere.
